The Agri Marg team is thrilled to announce the inaugural Hyderabad Agri Tournament (HAT), a cricket competition aimed at fostering connections among stakeholders in the agriculture sector. Scheduled to occur from April 7th to 9th, 2023, the tournament will be held at the Fine Cab Cricket Ground in Kompally, Hyderabad.

As pioneers in agriculture innovation, Agri Marg is enthusiastic about creating a platform where interested parties can come together to establish enduring partnerships and collaborations. The HAT seeks to infuse the culture and spirit of sports into corporate management to unlock the potential and opportunities within agriculture.

Cricket holds a special place in India’s identity, and the HAT aims to engage and attract the younger generation towards agriculture by linking the general public to the industry through this popular sport. In today’s resurgent India, food and agriculture have emerged as significant drivers of economic growth, as evidenced by the growth in startups, exports, and investments. Agriculture in India is more than just a profession; it embodies sustenance and a way of life for a large part of the population.

The tournament is open to teams consisting of members from various sectors, including Agri Business Organizations, Agri Food/Tech Startups, Agri PSU’s, Agri Development Bodies, Agri Traders, and Farmers. Eight teams, each comprising 13 players using a hard tennis ball, will compete. The tournament features team cricket jerseys, medals, participation certificates, the man of the match award, the best batsman of the series, and the best bowler of the series.

The competition will consist of two groups, each comprising four teams. The top four teams from the groups will advance to the semifinals, with the winners vying for the championship title. The Agri Industry Cricket Tournament promises to be a thrilling three-day event that will bring together various stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

For those interested, sponsorship opportunities are available, including official sponsor status, branding on marketing materials, recognition during the opening and closing ceremonies, and the chance to showcase products and services. Title Sponsorship is priced at Rs. 1,50,000 + GST, offering several benefits, such as a senior official sharing the stage with dignitaries during the opening and closing ceremonies, inclusion of the sponsor’s logo on trophies and certificates, and the screening of a corporate video during breaks. Gold Sponsorship is priced at Rs. 65,000 + GST, and Silver Sponsorship is available for Rs. 25,000 + GST. Additionally, stalls can be purchased for Rs. 35,000 + GST, providing networking opportunities and a platform to showcase products and services.

Rajiv Bang, the co-founder of Agri Marg, remarked, “The HAT promises to be an exciting event that brings together various stakeholders in the agriculture industry. We invite all interested parties to join us in this action-packed week in Hyderabad and help infuse the culture and spirit of sports into corporate management to unlock the potential and opportunities within agriculture.”
