Bengaluru-based maternity and postpartum apparel brand House of Zelena has raised ₹7 crore in a seed funding round co-led by Sprout Venture Partners and M Venture Partners, with participation from GSF and a network of strategic angel investors. This round brings the total funding raised by the brand to $1.2 million.

Founded in 2022 by Hina Priyadarshini and Mayank Kamal, House of Zelena has quickly established itself as a “mom-first” alternative in a baby-first dominated market. The brand focuses on creating apparel that adapts to mothers’ changing bodies and needs during pregnancy and postpartum, prioritizing comfort, confidence, and emotional well-being. Its range includes postpartum sculptwear leggings, bump-friendly loungewear, and leakproof innerwear—designed with innovation at the core.

With the fresh infusion of capital, the company plans to:

  • Strengthen supply chain capabilities to meet growing demand
  • Invest in product innovation across maternity and postpartum essentials
  • Expand its community ecosystem of mothers through offline and digital touchpoints
  • Introduce the “SafeToFeed Café” campaign and launch a refreshed brand identity in September 2025

The brand has built a thriving digital presence with a community of over 250,000 mothers across India, generating nearly 45 million organic impressions each month. By combining apparel with community-building, House of Zelena positions itself not just as a clothing brand but as a movement that champions mothers’ experiences.

Investor confidence in the brand stems from the rapidly growing maternity wear market in India, which is witnessing strong demand as nuclear families expand and maternal wellness gains prominence.

House of Zelena’s latest fundraise underscores a larger shift in India’s startup ecosystem—where purpose-driven, community-centric brands are attracting serious capital.
