Gopalji Mehrotra has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at ACME Group, a leading player in clean and renewable energy solutions.

In his new role, Mehrotra will lead the company’s human resources strategy, with a focus on organizational transformation, leadership development, and building talent capabilities aligned with ACME Group’s long-term growth and sustainability objectives.

Extensive Experience in HR Leadership

Mehrotra brings with him over three decades of experience in human resources leadership across large industrial and multinational organizations. He has led people strategy through phases of expansion, transformation, and integration, working closely with business leadership to align talent initiatives with enterprise goals.

Prior to joining ACME Group, he served as Head of Human Resources at HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) for nearly seven years. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving future-readiness initiatives, strengthening leadership succession planning, implementing progressive diversity and inclusion frameworks, and advancing enterprise-wide cultural transformation programs.

Career Spanning Multiple Industries

Earlier in his career, Mehrotra held senior HR leadership roles at organizations including Ashok Leyland, Astix, Mylan, and Zensar Technologies.

Across these roles, he has led people strategy during critical periods of business transformation, integration, and global expansion. At Kennametal, he was involved in global HR initiatives including business process redesign, M&A due diligence, and cross-cultural alignment across international operations.

Known for his expertise in executive coaching, organization design, and digital HR systems, Mehrotra has spent over a decade leading large-scale HR transformations and global talent programs. His experience spans sectors including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, IT, and energy.

At ACME Group, Mehrotra is expected to focus on building a people-first and performance-driven culture, strengthening leadership pipelines, and supporting the company’s continued expansion in the clean energy sector.

His appointment reflects ACME Group’s emphasis on creating a talent-centric organization as it scales operations and advances its mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions.
